After the interval Curnow retired hurt for 27 and was taken to hospital for a wrist x ray.  Sharp was out for a duck two runs later at 109-4 in the 38th over.

Purchase caught behind 21, Hughes shouldered arms 1 and Harvey was bowled after reaching 50 off 146 balls (seven fours)

Snell & Ahmed added 37 for the eighth wicket before Snell was caught behind for 29 on the verge of tea.

After Ahmed went for 11 at 207-9 Curnow returned to resume his innings. Hockin took his score from 7 to a county best 55 hitting eleven fours before being dismissed. Curnow contributed five runs  to the stand of 57. The last three wickets added 103 runs. A minimum of 23 overs remain in the day.

Hockin and Snell remove openers Holman & Bradley for 23 before Shakil Ahmed got Lye with his third ball at 39-3 in the 11th over.
